Transglobe is an International Procurement House focused on serving sub-Saharan markets from South Africa.
The company was founded in 1975 by Mr. Ezra Russo, a Belgian national with many years of trading experience in Central Africa. The company began by sourcing and supplying South African commercial goods to various companies in Central Africa. In 1990 a technical division, headed by Joseph Russo (engineer), was created to service the growing technical and engineering demands in the market.
Today the company, focuses on engineering procurement for the construction, industrial and mining industries under the management of Joseph Russo.
Transglobe specializes in sourcing material, equipment and machinery required for projects in different fields. We have partnered with professionals, engineers & architects to offer a comprehensive service when required. For certain projects we also offer the installation of the products & equipment supplied.
Logistic remains a key component of our overall services and is core to the product selection and proposed solutions. It is important to ensure that we deliver materials, components and equipment in their original condition. This requires us to understand the various modes of transport available for different destinations. Our logistic service includes all aspects of receiving goods, verification, packaging and shipping with all the necessary associated administration.

280 Bed Hospital – Refurbishment
Transglobe participated in this project supplying building materials, as well as design, supply & install – elevators, medical gas plant, infrastructure & bed head units, HVAC for ICU & antistatic acrylic floor.
Transglobe supplied aluminium & glass doors & windows, wooden doors, tiles, sanitary ware, taps, ceiling materials & many more items.
+/- 3000m² Corporate Office Ground Floor + 6 Floors
Transglobe participated in the supply of building materials such as tiles, ceiling material, sanitary ware, electrical plugs & sockets.
Transglobe designed, supplied & installed – HVAC, lifts, glass balustrading, facade sun shades, cementitious external coating & internal matching wood panelling & doors.
Transglobe designed & supplied an Aircraft hangar. We supervised the erection of the hangar as well as some of the equipment supplied.
Transglobe also designed & supplied the lighting, electrical distribution boards, electrical mini-substation, fire alarm system, automated hangar doors & prefabricated administration facilities.
